PERFORMANCE ENHANCEMENT GROUP

The Performance Enhancement Group meets quarterly. The Group is set up under the auspices of East Midlands HAUC and is a sub-group specifically looking at best practice in street works/road works for the East Midlands Area. In addition to the guidance notes produced it regularly updates the contact lists and the statutory undertakers matrix (a list of statutory undertakers who operate in the East Midlands Area)."

Short Term, the Group is currently working on producing a guidance note to encourage first time permanent reinstatements in modular surfaces. More long term the group is looking at producing a training document for street works administrators and identifying surface apparatus.

EMHAUC attends the WMHAUC 2009 Roadshow.

For the second year running EMHAUC was present at the WMHAUC Annual Roadshow highlighting the work and successes of EMHAUC.

Industry Award for the Performance Enhancement Group at the HSC09 Conference!

The hard work of the group and its contribution and positive impact to street works in the East Midlands has been recognised and acknowledged at a national level by HAUC(UK) at the 7th Annual Conference held at Cardiff in May 2008. Both the group members and EMHAUC are delighted with this honour especially as the theme of the conference was 'Vision for the future'. It is hoped that others will find use in the work that has so far been carried out. There is still much to be done but much has been achieved as the aware shows and recognises!
All the members of EMHAUC offer their congratulations to the Group on the achievement of this honour.
